We've got a stack of recent adoption photos from this month and some truly heroic stories.

Four outstanding dog adoptions were Lizzy Tee, who was in the shelter for 200 days before her hero came along; Sadie & Beethoven who were from the emergency shelter in November 2024; and last but not by any means least - PAUL RUDD who'd had quite the tumultuous journey to begin with, had been in our custody for 446 days (FOUR HUNDRED AND FORTY SIX) & had gone through 3 foster homes during that time. We were...concerned, to say the least, but we kept rooting for him. Paul was a special case who needed a special person. Thank goodness his forever dad came along, at last! Hero status for life!

As for kitties, let's talk about CHIBO, the kitty with her lovely mama in the green dress. Chibo's intake date was December 14th....20-TWENTY THREE. She was a bit infamous for being a cranky lil thing (who wouldn't be) and we were thrilled went she went into a foster home after ~420+ days in-shelter. What happened next was completely unexpected...Chibo chose HER person, finally! After 520 days - FIVE HUNDRED & TWENTY - she found her forever person. Chibo is a totally different cat with her new mama and we couldn't be happier.

We had some true happy tails this month, y'all. Say CONGRATS to all these new HEROES and their lucky pals! We are so grateful!
