SVASC has A LOT of senior pups still waiting for their forever homes. Many are in foster care, but need their forever families just as much as those in the shelter. Swipe through to find their adoption profile links!

π‘Ύπ’‰π’š π’šπ’π’– 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒂𝒅𝒐𝒑𝒕 𝒂 π’”π’†π’π’Šπ’π’“ 𝒑𝒖𝒑:
πŸ’› Senior pups need love, too!
πŸ’› Housetrained with doggie manners - many older pups are ALREADY housebroken! Your furniture, floors & carpets...will thank you. If they do need a little encouragement, fear not, old dogs CAN learn new tricks - better than puppies, in fact! You're also less likely to lose one of your favorite shoes to chewing.
πŸ’› Lazy days - though senior animals DO need exercise, you're more likely to get a couch potato than a marathon runner.
πŸ’› No surprises - there's no guessing game when it comes to personality, full grown size and grooming requirements of senior pups. They are who they are and tend to be on the mellower end.
πŸ’› Lots of life left! Dogs live an average of 10-15 years. Many of these pups are just getting started, and if they are on the more geriatric end or special needs, you'll be providing a loving home to live out their days. They deserve it more than ever.
πŸ’› Get your senior discount! All dogs under our care who are 8+ y/o are discounted under our Senior Animal promo. Instead of $175, adopt a senior dog in need for $125. Adoption fees cover all vetting, spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, daily care, etc.

FYI: senior discounts are ALSO applied to kitties 8+ y/o at SVASC. Instead of $70, adopt a friendly senior feline for $50!
