Adoptable Dogs

Adoption fee for dogs at SVASC is $175 unless stated otherwise.  The fee includes rabies and distemper vaccinations, 4DX testing, spay/neuter, flea & tick preventatives, deworming, and microchipping.

Please remember that in the City of Staunton and Augusta County, there is a limit of four dogs per household. You must have a special use permit if you are over the limit.

To Apply:

  1. Select the pet you are interested in below and click "Apply to adopt".

  2. Or you can also fill out a general dog adoption application and get "pre-approved".

Please note: One application is valid for any animal(s) in our facility.  Do not submit more than one application. Once submitted, applications are good for 6 months.
